With over 15 years of deep roots in Atlanta’s wine scene, Perrine’s Wine is more than a neighborhood wine shop—it’s a destination for curated, terroir-driven wines, exceptional customer service, and wine education. Founded by a French sommelier, our three locations offer a welcoming, inspiring space for both seasoned collectors and curious beginners.

We’re currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and service-driven Sales Lead to help us elevate the guest experience and support the daily operations of our retail shop.

Position Overview
As a Sales Lead, you’ll be a key point of contact on the floor—guiding customers, supporting the store manager, and leading by example. You’ll help foster a high-performance, hospitality-focused environment while providing expert wine recommendations and mentoring fellow team members. This role is ideal for someone with strong wine knowledge, solid retail experience, and natural leadership instincts.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding, tailored customer experiences with a strong focus on hospitality
- Provide advanced wine recommendations and guide customers through our curated selection
- Support the store manager in daily operations, including opening/closing, delegation, and team motivation
- Act as a leader on the floor, setting the tone for service, sales, and teamwork
- Help oversee inventory management, product labeling, merchandising, and stock organization
- Maintain the store’s cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation standards
- Assist in planning and executing tastings, private events, and educational experiences
- Train and mentor team members to improve service and deepen wine knowledge
- Stay up to date with producers, vintages, and global wine trends through tastings and research

What We're Looking For
- Deep passion for wine, with strong foundational knowledge of grape varieties, regions, producers, and styles
- 2+ years of experience in wine retail or hospitality, with leadership responsibilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a natural leader and team player
- Ability to drive sales through thoughtful service and storytelling
- Experience with retail technology: POS (Lightspeed preferred), Google Suite, Mac OS, Canva, Microsoft Office
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Physically able to lift and move multiple cases of wine daily (up to 40 lbs)
- Wine certifications (WSET, CMS, etc.) are strongly preferred.
