Grape Culture’s sister brand, Nottingham Cellars, focuses on heritage vineyards in Napa Valley and Sonoma County.

Additionally our winemaking team produces Single vineyard Pinot Noir under the label Typicite Wines, as well as a handful of custom crush clients with varying projects and scales. We utilize a wide array of fermentation vessels and techniques and if you are looking to learn A LOT about winemaking with a very large set of varieties and stylistic protocols, this is the internship for you.

This is a hands on harvest where you will get experience in receiving fruit, managing a wide range of fermentations, some lab work including phenolic profiling, and vineyard sampling.

We are looking for 2 interns that are ready to get dirty and take pride in the work they do. This is an hourly position. Most weeks will be 40+/- hours but depending on how the season goes there could be 60+ hour weeks.

With the amount of programs we have in place you will leave here with a broad understanding of the many ways wine can be made, and it will be with a lineup of vineyards that anyone would be happy to work with.

You will be working alongside Collin Cranor and Craig Ploof. We have a combined 30+ years of winemaking experience and take pride in mentoring young folks eager to get to the next level. There are physical requirements to this position including the long hours mentioned, ability to lift 50+ Lbs, and perform cellar tasks that can be dangerous if not executed properly.

Please submit a resume and cover letter and and one of us will reach out with the details.
