Results Partners seeks a dedicated and driven Vineyard Manager to take on a key role within our company. We are a forward thinking, quality driven, fast paced and growth-oriented vineyard management and development company. Headquartered in McMinnville, Oregon, we oversee vineyards spanning both the Willamette Valley and Columbia Valley regions, this position is specifically focused in the Willamette Valley.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our team of Vineyard Managers and Viticulturists overseeing all aspects of day-to-day farming activities. From the creation of the farm plans to the implementation of tasks, this position is focused on ensuring that all vineyards are farmed to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will lead both the labor and equipment teams and will contribute to the growth and development of each employee. They will be the kind of person who pays attention to the details, is highly organized, enjoys cleanliness, loves agriculture, understands the growing season and its demands, understands business, and is ultimately someone that will do whatever it takes to see both employees and vineyards succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Work with the management team on the creation of annual vineyard farm plans for each individual vineyard.
•  Manage the daily activity, training, and development of labor supervisors and tractor operators.
•  Ensure crew safety and compliance with all laws and company policies.
•  Organize the movement of equipment from site to site and ensure proper setup and use.
•  Perform routine equipment service as needed and communicate with Service Manager.
•  Distribute and implement fungicide programs with the use of spray work orders and delivery of materials in a timely and efficient manner and maintain accurate, complete, and up to date spray records.
•  Schedule and supervise all canopy management tasks with individual crew supervisors and crews ensuring timely and appropriate work is done.
•  Schedule and supervise all vineyard floor operations, including mowing, cultivation and seeding. Create vineyard maps and convey information accurately to equipment operators.
•  Maintain vineyard cleanliness, including the shop and grounds surrounding the vineyard.
•  Responsible for daily timecards and tracking of employee hours worked and recording in AgCode software program.
•  General disease and pest monitoring

Qualifications
•  Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills and be willing to be a team player.
•  Must have prior working experience with general equipment used within vineyards (tractors, cultivation tools, fungicide, and herbicide applicators, etc.).
•  Must have prior working experience with vineyard crews and a general understanding of work task timeframes during the season and the intricacies of labor needs.
•  Must be able to obtain an FLC license.
•  Ability to speak and write in both English and Spanish.
•  Will be required to work long hours, starting in the early morning.
•  Ability to acquire a Commercial Applicator License.
•  Must have previous vineyard management experience or supervision role in vineyard management.
•  Must have a valid driver’s license.
•  Must be able to lead a team of skilled vineyard employees.
•  Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
