Estate Ambassador Assistant

Job Description:

The primary role of the Estate Ambassador Assistant is to maintain all hospitality spaces to ensure smooth flow of service. The major responsibilities for this role include: set up and clear tables for experiences, clear glassware, sanitize tables, buff glassware, and ensure all tasting spaces are stocked with the necessary items needed for service. This requires that the individual embodies teamwork and supports the vision of the brand through a “lead by example” work ethic.

Job Duties:

Convey an atmosphere of luxury hospitality in all guest-facing spaces.

Set up and break down tables for experiences. Clear dirty glassware, sanitize tables, and reset for the next experience in a timely manner.

Make frequent rounds through all hospitality spaces to ensure cleanliness. (Tasting room, private rooms, patios, restrooms, caves, kitchen, etc.)

Stock glassware on tasting room shelves.

Pre-pour wine for guests when requested on certain experiences.

Work with the culinary team to execute experiences that include a culinary component.

Organize and build collateral for experiences.

Organize back of house and wine storage room, as needed.

Retrieve supplies from on-property storage to stock tasting room (Fay Garage, Building 2, etc.)

Alert manager when low on supplies.

Support the team and other departments with special events/requests as needed.

Complete opening and closing duties daily.

Employ a detailed eye for clean and tidy spaces. Maintain all spaces in front and back of house.

Contribute to and support the vision of a harmonious, team-oriented work environment.

Other duties as assigned.



Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Hospitality service experience preferably for a large restaurant, winery or hotel

Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience working in the wine industry, restaurants, or hotels/resorts is highly desired but not required.

Strong verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.

Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with management, peers, and guests. Adhere to a culture of “yes.”

Must possess a strong work ethic Must be a person of high integrity and commitment.

Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for a prolonged period.

Ability to work weekends.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position. Competitive compensation depending on experience plus benefits including medical/dental insurance, paid vacation, and sick leave.
