Job Responsibilities:
• Assists in all winery operations (BBL downs, wine transfers, racking, topping, filtration, wine additions, inoculations, bottling, BBL maintenance, batonnage, etc.) according to SOPs.
• Assists with all harvest duties, including Berry sampling, sanitation, barrel downs, wine transfers, pump-overs/punch-downs, inoculations, additions, fermentation checks, etc.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and presentable winery.
• Follows proper sanitation protocols.
• Cleaning/sanitation of tanks and winery equipment.
• Thorough start of day/end of day checks of the winery.
• Forklift operations.
• Helps in completing miscellaneous jobs within the winery.
Qualifications:
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Previous premium winemaking cellar experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours during harvest.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Skilled in hands-on cellar tasks and operations.
• Able to lift 55 pounds and work long hours when needed.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually. After a probationary period, eligible employees will receive comprehensive health benefits and 401k option. Additionally, we provide generous paid time off for all employees.
