About The Role

This is a great opportunity to work as part of the premium winemaking team for our upcoming harvest. The facility is a mid-size production hub in the Central Coast that blends several mature and up and coming brands. Be a part of a seasoned and dynamic team that is focused on making premium wine!

The position is a hands-on winemaking job, with knowledge of a working cellar and winemaking practices is necessary to help ensure efficient and quality workflow. We need someone who is dynamic, outgoing, and willing to jump in to help the winemaking team throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

* Creation of work orders and instructions
* Daily record keeping and data entry
* Collaborate with winemakers across brands and styles
* Fermentation monitoring
* Communicating with the cellar
* Oversight during harvest cellar activities
* Set up tastings, fermenter and otherwise
* Opportunities to taste fermenters with the winemaking team
* Special projects

About You

* You have a BS in a science field or equivalent harvest experience
* You have excellent communication skills
* You are Computer literate
* You have basic math associated with converting units and making calculations
* You are self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work independently
* You are able to work a flexible schedule and some weekends
* You can lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $23 to $30 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of the California, specifically the Paso Robles area. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
