Atwater Vineyards is hiring! Our team is looking for motivated, energetic applicants to join our Vineyard Crew. Located on the east side of Seneca Lake in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country, Atwater Vineyards is 40 acres of ideally situated vinifera grapes. Our team embraces all that our area has to offer—a supportive grower community, the latest research from area organizations, and the natural gifts of area climate and geography.

Successful applicants will express, above all else, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently. Vineyard work is physically demanding. Workers spend time outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions and must be able to lift fifty pounds, stand and walk safely on uneven ground, and be able to perform agricultural tasks. Experience operating equipment, including tractors and associated implements such as brush hogs, sprayers, hoes, and trailers would be preferred.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be able to be insured on company vehicles. Those maintaining a current NYS Private Pesticide Applicator License will be given special consideration.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, starting at $18-24/hour. After a three-month probationary period, full-time employees receive health care, paid time off, and an optional matching IRA plan as well as an employee discount.

Atwater Vineyards is located in Burdett, NY a short drive from Watkins Glen, Ithaca, Elmira, Geneva, and the surrounding Finger Lakes.
