A luxury winery in Oregon’s Rogue Valley is in search of two seasonal cellar hands for the upcoming 2024 harvest. We grow and produce an exciting range of high elevation Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that places us squarely on the cutting edge of Oregon viticulture.

Job Description:
This is a temporary position expected to run from mid-August through mid-November. Prior winery experience preferred, but not required. Job assignments will vary and depend on experience. Employees should expect to work an average of 50-60 hours per week, and wages are competitive with industry averages based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Cleaning and sanitizing winery equipment and tanks
•  Processing and sorting grapes
•  Punching down and pumping over fermenting lots
•  Making additions to juice and wine
•  Transferring and racking juice and wine
•  Managing barrels, including cleaning, filling, stirring, and topping
•  Measuring and tracking fermentation data
•  Performing other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:
Most importantly, a great work ethic and the ability to work as part of a high-performing team are essential. Harvest is challenging work but made infinitely better when working as a part of an outstanding crew. Ideal candidate will have excellent team skills, forklift operation experience, and be able to operate winery equipment. Training will be provided.

Location:
We are in the Rogue Valley AVA, just outside Ashland, the ‘cultural capital’ of Southern Oregon. If you enjoy exploring the outdoors on your days off, there is amazing hiking, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding and river rafting all easily accessible in the area. Also, we have a great downtown full of places to eat, drink, shop, and watch Shakespeare performances.
