Owl Ridge Wine Services, a custom crush winery located in Sebastopol, California, is seeking an experienced cellar worker to join our team. We are a unique medium-sized winery that produces high-end wine for a variety of labels, as well as for ourselves. Working with over 15 consulting winemakers and their distinct winemaking styles makes it an excellent place to learn and grow.

*This position is temporary, position would start immediately and potentially last until August 2024. Position will not be needed for this upcoming harvest.

Job Duties:
- Perform all necessary cellar activities
- Equipment sanitation and winery clean up
- Fermentation Monitoring and Cap Management
- Assist with processing all incoming fruit
- Draining tanks and pressing grape skins
- Barrel downs, racking and topping
- General winery actions and other duties as assigned by the Cellar Master
- Potential assisting lab with pulling samples and other tasks
-Working outside sometimes for extended periods of time
-help with packaging on bottling and canning lines
-Running filtration machines
-forklift driving – moving and stacking barrels, picking bins, dry goods, case goods and tanks

Job Requirements:
- Good reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours six days/week
- Have reliable transportation and report to work on-time
- Team player and also able to work well by yourself
- Able provide good customer service to our clients
- Experience a plus but not required
- Able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment
-Strong ability to maintain attention to detail, focus and a positive attitude


Pay:$20/HR - $25+/HR - Depending on experience
