Part Time Hospitality & Office Associate

Job Description:

Consistently execute accurate data entry in a timely and professional manner. Ensure the winery brand image is consistently communicated when dealing with clients and members.

Administrative and Sales Support
•  Strong attention to detail.
•  Outreach and follow up to customers by phone and email.
•  Accurately enter sales, shipping details, customer contact information in Vin65 E-commerce and Ship Compliant portals.
•  Utilize key functionality of Microsoft Office applications, Vin65 E-commerce portal and Ship Compliant.
•  Manage manual orders for 3rd party shipments from processing through shipped.
•  Manage shipping progress, returns and inventory with DTC fulfillment partner.
•  Manage Cottage guest pre-visit details (e.g. check in/out, pre arrival check in documents, set up expectations and calendar details in google)
•  Hand write winery thank you cards on behalf of the winery.
•  Schedule guest appointments, vet guests on phone, send appt. confirmations.
•  Occasional local errands (e.g. bank deposits, post office, and wine pick up).
•  Take initiative to complete tasks and projects.
•  Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information and/or situations and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

Host and Sales Responsibilities
•  Graciously host guests at winery estate. Provide a warm welcome and story-telling - conduct informative and engaging tasting experience.
•  Assist in all daily hospitality duties. Responsible for wine, stemware, tabletop set-up and clean up.
•  Assist guests with wine and retail purchasing decisions.
•  Inform guests of the membership and benefits; recruit new members.
•  Accurately collect guest data and preferences.
•  Accurately take sales, shipping details, customer contact information, and customer notes during guests visit to the estate.
•  Support a clean and safe environment in all hospitality areas including restrooms, indoor and outdoor seating areas and walkways, kitchen and office. Involves clean-up through-out the day, particularly before and after guest appointments. Wiping down railing, tabletops, and cobwebs.
•  Pull wine pick up orders from winery inventory.
•  Monitor wine stock and tasting room stock and alert DTC Manager when running low.
•  Estate upkeep and assist in resolving maintenance issues.
•  Be responsive and gracious in solving customer issues and/or complaints.

Compensation:
•  Hourly Range: $26 - $28/hr
•  Commission on sales generated by you
•  Wine Club Sign up bonus
•  The position is 3 days a week - no weekends.
