Position: Tasting Room Associate
Type: Full time (minimum 1 weekend day required, some holidays)
Compensation: min $19.00 DOE, plus commission, tips and incentives, health benefits, matching 401k & paid time off

Successful family owned winery outside Healdsburg seeks an enthusiastic candidate for our Tasting Room Team. You will be part of a small tasting room staff, driving sales and wine club sign-ups so a positive attitude and good salesmanship is a must. In addition to pouring, you will give consumer tours, host wine and cheese pairings, help keep accurate inventory, and assist the Tasting Room Manager with winery events and special projects. Candidates need to be great communicators with strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Position requires good judgment and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Willingness to work as part of a team and interact graciously with the public is absolutely necessary.

Preferred Qualifications: We’d love to see experienced tasting room workers and/or people with degrees in Hospitality Management or related fields, but we will consider any self-motivating, fast learners with or without experience in the wine business. Solid writing skills are preferred, but not necessary. You should be able to lift a case of wine as needed, around 50lbs.
