Our Tasting Room is grown on the farm. We grow the grapes to drink and vegetables to eat!

Cultivar began as a Napa Valley winery and expanded in 2017 to a California farm-to-table restaurant on Chestnut Street in San Francisco, and is expanding to our newest Wine Tasting Room in Ghirardelli Square.

The San Francisco tasting room will serve Cultivar’s extensive and well regarded catalogue of Napa Valley wines, paired with small bites and other tasty farm to table bites. Wine flights, wine tasting experiences and retail products will also be offered. The location will be “home base” to our popular Wine Club. Cultivar will host Wine Club events, promote the Wine Club and facilitate new sign up through the Ghirardelli Square Tasting Room.

We are looking for an individual with experience, talent and passion in wine, hospitality and/or sales. We do not require experience, talent and passion in all three of those areas but two out of the three would be a good start.
This is an opportunity to join a successful and growing business. Being one of the first employees at our new location will allow for the opportunity to shape the businesses direction whilst experiencing personal growth.

Responsibilities: Associate
1. Customer Interaction: Greet and welcome visitors, guiding them through tastings and providing information about our wines, winemaking techniques, and the Anderson Valley wine region.
2. Sales and Upselling: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our wines, promoting sales and encouraging wine club memberships. Upsell merchandise and wine-related products.
3. Hospitality: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
4. Tasting Room Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, including restocking inventory and ensuring tasting areas are presentable.
5. Wine Education: Continuously expand your knowledge of our wines and winemaking processes to provide accurate and engaging information to visitors.
6. Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of special events, private tastings, and wine club activities as needed.
