Multitasking master: You juggle various tasks effortlessly, maintaining organization and attention to detail in both the tasting room and office.
Tech-savvy team player: Competency in computer skills and eager to learn new winery software systems. Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Collaborative spirit: You value teamwork and enjoy working alongside colleagues to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Warm up the welcome mat: Greet guests with a smile and make them feel comfortable in our relaxed and inviting tasting room.
Become a wine ambassador: Guide guests through tastings, educate them on our wines, and confidently answer their questions.
Sell with passion: Share your love of wine and convert your enthusiasm into wine sales and club memberships.
Keep things sparkling: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and office areas.
Build relationships: Foster connections with neighboring businesses to encourage referrals and collaborations.
Stay connected: Contact wine club members and retail customers to finalize orders and ensure their satisfaction.
Eventful opportunities: Gain experience managing event bookings and contracts (optional).
Requirements:
2+ years of college education
Experience in sales, customer service, and/or hospitality. Wine industry experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Outstanding ability in customer service and working with the public.
Can work effectively independently and/or with a team.
Able to work a flexible schedule and some weekends.
Possesses knowledge of point-of-sales systems, including ability to perform opening and closing procedures.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be fluent in English- Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus.
