We are in search of a Tasting Room Cook.
Under supervision and direction from the Manager, the Cook maintains a well-organized station for prepping and presenting products of highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare food according to menu specifications – small menu (ie: maybe 4 items) small plates
• Prepare food products for shift while using proper rotation, first-in-first-out, and check for quality while preventing food waste
• Perform correct cooking techniques
• Maintain an organized and clean work area at all times; observe good sanitation practices and safety procedures
• Unpack and stock kitchen deliveries
Job Qualifications
• Serve Safe certification is a must
• Understanding of use, operations and care of all kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of knife skills and cooking items
