Nestled in the rolling foothills of Walla Walla’s Blue Mountains, Abeja Winery and The Inn at Abeja are renowned for extraordinary wines, world-class hospitality, and breathtaking surroundings. Our beautifully restored century-old farm and 38-acre estate offer a truly special setting to share unforgettable wine experiences with our guests.
We’re seeking a Wine Specialist to join our passionate, high-performing hospitality team. This is a unique opportunity to represent one of Washington’s most celebrated wineries, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and grow your career in luxury wine service. This position will work at both the Estate Property and the Beekeeper by Abeja tasting room in downtown Walla Walla.

What You’ll Do
Create unforgettable tasting experiences for guests and wine club members with warm, personalized service
Lead on-site wine tastings and private experiences, ensuring seamless preparation and cleanup
Build lasting relationships through thoughtful, professional communication by phone, email, and in person
Share Abeja’s story, history, and wines with confidence and enthusiasm, deepening guest appreciation
Support daily operations, including tastings, wine order preparation, shipping, and inventory stocking
Play an essential role in special events (Spring Release, Fall Celebration, holiday events, and more)
Collaborate with teammates to ensure a polished, elevated guest experience at every touchpoint
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is gracious, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. You bring a passion for wine and hospitality, a drive to exceed guest expectations, and the ability to adapt and problem-solve with professionalism and poise.
Must be 21+ with weekend availability
Previous winery tasting room or luxury hospitality experience preferred
Knowledge of wine and winemaking; WSET or Guild Somm certification a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to connect with guests
Comfortable with POS systems, transactions, and multitasking
Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
