Hospitality Lead / Specialist

Lachini Vineyards

Newberg, OR

Job Description:

About Us:
Lachini Vineyards is a luxury, family-owned estate located in the heart of Oregon’s acclaimed Willamette Valley. We’ve recently unveiled our new Villa tasting house and are looking to grow our team! Our focus is on producing exceptional, terroir-driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines through biodynamic farming practices and minimalist winemaking. At Lachini, hospitality is not just service—it’s a reflection of our values: intimacy, refinement, and authenticity. We craft experiences that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a polished, personable, and detail-oriented professional in hospitality to join our growing tasting room team — full-time and part-time positions are available. This role is central to delivering the elevated experiences that define the Lachini brand. Ideal candidates bring a minimum 2+ years’ experience in sales or hospitality (wine, restaurant, hotel and other industries) along with poise, warmth, a passion for fine wine, and a proven ability to connect with guests in a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Deliver curated, high-touch tasting experiences for discerning clientele
•  Share the Lachini story and winemaking philosophy with clarity and elegance
•  Utilize Orderport POS to manage sales, inventory, and guest data with precision
•  Build relationships that drive wine sales, wine club sign-ups, and event bookings
•  Support private tastings, wine dinners, and exclusive Estate events
•  Maintain a beautiful, clean, and professional tasting environment
•  Represent the brand with integrity and deep product knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Minimum 2 years of luxury hospitality, fine dining, or premium winery experience
•  Familiarity with Orderport or similar POS systems
•  Passionate about wine, with a willingness to continually learn and grow
•  Excellent verbal communication and an engaging presence
•  Ability to multitask while providing exceptional service
•  OLCC pouring, food service certification and valid driver’s license required

What We Offer:
•  Competitive hourly wage + gratuities + wine club commissions
•  Health insurance & 401k plan
•  Generous wine benefits and employee discounts
•  Ongoing wine education and access to library wines
•  A chance to grow within a boutique, family-owned luxury brand
•  Flexible scheduling with weekend/holiday availability required
