DTC Wine Sales & Farm Ambassador

DaVero Farms & Winery

Healdsburg, CA

Job Description:

DaVero is a wonderful place to work, with a warm, friendly culture built on trust and affection.

For over two decades, we have been making wine in the Dry Creek Valley from climate-appropriate Italian varieties, using regenerative and biodynamic methods that honor the land. This philosophy is the foundation of everything we do – wine, olive oil, visitor experiences, and storytelling.

As a 100% DTC winery, our sales team plays the central role in hosting guests, establishing and maintaining lasting relationships, and growing our community.

We are seeking an experienced individual to join that team – a collaborative team player who loves closing sales as much as they love providing great hospitality.

If that’s you, you will have a history of delivering strong results in both club signups and wine sales; excel at providing warm wine hospitality; and enjoy interacting with members and customers by phone and email as well as in person.

You’ll find a lot to work with. Our story is fascinating, unique, and authentic, and is supported by outstanding wines made completely naturally from interesting varietals, presented in a stunning environment that immediately makes guests feel at peace and creates a desire to belong.

This role is built around storytelling and hospitality, with a strong focus on member acquisition as well as sales. You’ll host personalized tastings and walking tours, helping guests connect with our wines, farming philosophy, and values. You’ll have the fun of introducing them to new varietals that are truly delicious, leading them to leave not just as fans, but as Farm Members.

But the role doesn’t stop there: we need life-long customers, and that requires continuous interaction. So you are also responsible for ongoing personal communication, both after their initial visit as well as periodically over the months and years that follow – all with the objective of forging a deeper relationship with our wines and community.

Ideal candidates will bring proven sales success, fluency in wine, a deep-seated commitment to hospitality, and the ability to connect authentically with new guests and customers alike. We provide regular training to our team about Italian varietals, regenerative agriculture, and Biodynamic farming; prior knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement.
