Job Description:

Rutherford Ranch seeks an experienced Wine Club and DTC Operations Coordinator. In this back-office position you will be the key customer and member liaison. You are very comfortable in front of guests for the occasional hosting of a group to support your team. You will process all DTC orders, orchestrate club batch runs and handle our in-house fulfillment. The ideal candidate for this full-time position has several years of hands-on experience and is fluent in the language of customer care. Essentially you are the DTC traffic coordinator, very comfortable in an essential back-office meets front-office role.

Essential Responsibilities
•  Communicate daily through phone calls, voice messages and emails with wine club members and customers
•  Process all DTC wine sales and in particular, shipping orders
•  Proactively manage and update databases; compiling reports as requested
•  Demonstrate gracious and efficient communication skills and follow through
•  Build and coordinate all wine club releases in Commerce 7
•  Schedule Club releases, and maintains accurate inventory and timing requirements
•  Handle marketing projects such as club newsletters and shipment collateral
•  Hands-on packaging and shipment of wine orders, from printing packing slips and UPS tags to staging packages for daily UPS pickup
•  Work with various departments to ensure DTC operations are supported, club shipment build-outs are scheduled, and accuracy is at 100%
•  Keep on top of our UPS account and ensure that we are taking full advantage of our discount tiers and special promotions throughout the year
•  Assist in developing content for social media
•  Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Competencies
•  Experience with Commerce7, Ship Compliant, UPS WorldShip & RedChirp highly preferred
•  Proficiency in DTC shipping SOPs
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Excellent customer service skills and abilities
•  Strong attention to detail
•  Strong problem-solving skills, able to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
•  Ability to turn a customer challenge into a relationship building opportunity
•  Team-oriented, and knows how to work with a variety of personalities and understands that this is vital to growing the business
•  Comfortable and capable of lending a hand to the Tasting Room team for hosting an occasional guest (this is not a primary job function, but we are a small close-knit team)
•  Assist with events several times per year

Physical Requirements
•  Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
•  Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift/move/push/pull, etc. for extended periods of time
