Longoria Wines is looking for the right person to join our team for the 2025 harvest. We offer an up close, hands-on winemaking experience working with over a dozen grape varietals sourced throughout Santa Barbara County. In addition to high-end Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay, we also do small lot production of locally sourced Bordeaux, Spanish, and Italian varietals.
This position is primarily focused on duties in the cellar. The job starts mid-August and will end November/December, dependent on the unique variables of the 2025 vintage. This is a seasonal, hourly paid position with overtime as required. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, enjoys physical work, and adds to the good vibes of harvest.
Harvest activities include:
Fruit intake and sorting
Tank and fermentation vessel cleaning and prep
Sanitizing and operating crush equipment
Fermentation monitoring and data collection
Pump-overs and punch downs
Yeast and nutrient additions
Rackings, barrel downs, and wine transfers
Occasional support of tasting room and event activities
Physical Requirements:
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs.
Able to work long hours and overtime, as needed.
Perform work duties in various weather conditions outdoors or indoors.
Full body mobility is required, including: Ability to stand, walk, sit, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance and kneel.
