- Cellar work (barrel cleaning, topping wine, blending wine, sanitizing equipment)
- Maintaining a clean and well organized cellar
- Record Keeping
- Fruit processing
- Fermentation monitoring - sampling, lab work

During harvest, interns can be expected to work 6 days a week and ~12 hours a day if necessary. We are in a remote location, so a car will be necessary.
We hope to find candidates that are enthusiastic about organic viticulture and low intervention winemaking.
Seasoned harvest veterans and first-timers are both welcome, although we would love to have a teammate that has an interest and passion for expanding their knowledge and experience in the wine business. This position starts in July and ends in December. The winery is about 35 minutes North of Traverse City.
