Position: Part-Time/ Seasonal Tasting Room Associate

Zialena is a small production, family owned and operated winery in Geyserville, CA.
We are seeking a part-time/seasonal tasting room associate and wine educator. We seek a high energy, outgoing team player with the ability to multi-task and focus on customer service. Some wine knowledge helpful but not necessary. Polish, enthusiasm, reliability, common sense, and a can-do attitude go a long way.

Job duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
•  Greeting and engaging guests for tasting experiences
•  Goal of building wine club, repeat and lasting customers
•  Provide guest education of Mazzoni family, Alexander valley, estate wines, Mazzoni Vineyard, wine making facility and processes, and local area activities and attractions
•  Opening and closing duties of tasting room daily
•  Stocking and cleaning duties of tasting room daily
•  Perform duties assigned daily by Hospitality Manager
Basic requirements:
•  Must be 21 years of age or older
•  Must be able to climb stairs and lift minimum of 50 lbs.
•  Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in variety of conditions
•  Valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation
Qualifications:
•  Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
•  At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience
•  Sales experience within the hospitality industry preferred
•  Knowledge of wine and viticulture practices preferred
•  Available for at least one weekend day shift, events as assigned, Fri-Sun preferred

Schedule:
We are looking for a part time/seasonal host for Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We will fill these shifts with one or more qualified persons based on availability. Priority will be given to applicants who can work Sat & Sun, please include any 'other' skills that may benefit a small winery staff!

Compensation:
Hourly wage will be comensurate with experience and availability. Min/Max advertised is comparable to the existing industry standard.
