Beacon Hill Winery & Vineyard is an all estate winery with our Tasting Room located just 30 minutes outside of Beaverton in Yamhill-Carlton AVA, along with the two vineyards we farm and manage in Dundee Hills AVA. Attainable luxury and authentic hospitality are at the heart of everything we do. We aim to produce high quality wine at attainable prices; and while we recognize our wine may not be for every palate, we hope the welcoming space of our Tasting Room is for every person. We are looking for someone to join in on the fun of our hospitality team as a seasonal Tasting Room Associate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and host guest through tasting experiences
- Build advocacy with guests by educating them about Beacon Hill’s history, wine, vineyards, Yamhill-Carlton and Dundee Hills AVAs
- Confidently sell wine and club memberships with a passion for providing quality, inviting customer service
- Properly execute orders on Square; book and edit reservations on TeamUp
- Assist with back of house duties: busing and polishing glassware, food service, cleaning tables
- Assist management in the completion of administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a positive and team-driven mentality; execute warm and attentive customer service in person and over the phone


Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excited to learn about Beacon Hill’s history and wines, Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton AVAs, and sales techniques
- Enjoy a light-hearted work team who prioritizes humor, wine education, and maintaining excellence in customer service
- Previous experience in hospitality / service industry
- Ideally have experience with Square POS
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, primarily weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess or obtain OLCC License and Food Handler’s License
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs
- Ability to stand or walk 6+ hours per day

Schedule: 3 days a week (Friday – Sunday). Depending on winery traffic, there is potential for this to become a 4 day job if desired. Availability for a few evening events.

Compensation + Benefits: $17/hr + tips and wine club commissions; employee savings (50% off) on wine
