We are looking to add a talented and experienced seasonal wine educator to our Cakebread team. Our high performing tasting room team provides outstanding customer service and a remarkable experience for all guests through the presentation of wines, specialty wine tastings, wine education and tours. This role will also support our Guest and Member Services team with reservations, orders and ad hoc responsibilities.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Bring a genuine positive attitude and high energy 100% of the time.
•  Collaborate with your fellow team members and share your ideas.
•  Share stories with guests that build brand loyalty and offer an engaging experience.
•  Impart wine education while giving tours around our beautiful property and vineyards.
•  Answer a high-volume of incoming direct sales telephone calls, operating multiple phone lines and routing calls to appropriate employees.
•  Educate and schedule customers calling to make Visitor Center appointments for tastings and tours.
•  Collect and take customer-direct orders.
•  Contact retail customers and wine club members when necessary regarding credit cards, declines, cancellations, reactivations or other inquiries.
•  Be a dependable extended family member.
•  Hone your passion for wine and wine production.
•  Build professional connections with guests.
•  Deliver and share your commitment to remarkable hospitality – as if you were hosting friends to your house for wine and food.

What you should bring to the table:
•  Experience in hospitality, customer service, sales, or related industry.
•  One year phone customer service experience.
•  Strong public speaking and presentation skills with groups large and small.
•  Knowledge of wines and interest in wine production.
•  Enjoy selling wine and promoting events.
•  Ideal time commitment of six months for this role with the opportunity to extend.
•  Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with others.
•  Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
•  A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
•  Ability to adapt to change with enthusiasm.
•  Working knowledge of TOCK, Ship Compliant, Salesforce, Wine Shipping and Microsoft Office Suite.
