Summer Dreams Wines, a small luxury white and pinot brand is looking for a full-time Production Assistant for its new winery in Healdsburg. Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office 365, and Innovint, and be highly skilled at operating lab analysis equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing luxury wine group.

Daily tasks include:
- Assist with work orders entry and creation in Innovint
- Daily analysis and monthly topping analysis using Foss, Ripper and outside lab services.
- Assist with physical monthly inventory counts.
- Maintain high-quality winemaking standards.
- Have a complete understanding of wine progression and abnormal occurrences such as VA, re-fermentation, microbial population changes, etc.
- Work in conjunction with the Cellar Master and seasonal employees.

Harvest Duties:
- Grape sampling, processing and reporting.
- Follow all Winemaker’s and senior production staff directives.
- Order wine fermenation supplies for harvest.
- Manage and track primary and secondary fermentation.
- Train temporary harvest staff.
- Cellar work– punchdowns, pumpovers, sanitation as needed.

Bottling Duties
- Prep wine for bottling including headspace gassing and FSO2 adjustments.
- Monitor bottlings runs and pull QC samples and data. Ensure bottle packaging align with specifications.
- Monitoring and keeping track of bottling supplies.
- Create BOL and Manage shipping and receiving.

Requirements:
2+ years experience in a similar position
High attention to detail
Forklift certified
B.S. in food-science or enology program.
Be able to lift 50 pounds
Be available for the Harvest work schedule of 6-7 days per week, 10+ hours a day.
