Position Overview -

Bergström Wines’ National and Export Sales Manager is a passionate, driven, and strategic team member who will lead and grow sales across the U.S. and beyond. In sync with our national sales management company, Wilson Daniels, this role is responsible for driving depletions, increasing placements, strengthening distributor partnerships through education and market work, and growing brand presence in both on-premise and off-premise channels while maintaining the integrity and prestige of the Bergström Wines brand. The ideal candidate will also have an impact for Bergström Wines on an international level in expanding Export relationships. This role is based in the Portland, Oregon area or Willamette Valley.

Success in this position requires a highly motivated sales leader with a deep understanding of fine wine, luxury brand positioning, account management, and market execution; someone who is equally comfortable working with top sommeliers, independent retailers, distributors, national accounts, and internal leadership teams.

Qualifications -
•  5+ years of experience in fine wine sales or supplier/distributor management.
•  Strong understanding of luxury wine positioning and national distribution.
•  Proven success driving depletions and placements in competitive markets.
•  Existing relationships within the fine wine trade are strongly preferred.
•  Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
•  Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and some international markets.
•  Passion for hospitality, wine culture, and terroir-driven wines.
•  Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong follow-through.
