Durant Vineyards is looking for a Tasting Room Lead to support our hospitality team. As our Tasting Room Lead, you will report directly to the Tasting Room Manager. Duties include: providing leadership to the tasting room team by setting an example of excellent customer service; evaluating pressure points in the daily work flow and supporting staff in alleviating them; reviewing reservations daily and making staff assignments; serving as the primary host/concierge; ensuring that staff are taking breaks and have the tools they need for success; directing staff members to additional duties during down time; ensuring that all opening and closing procedures are completed thoroughly; overseeing and ensuring cleanliness of all department spaces both guest facing and back of house; reporting any issues to management in a timely manner; participating in weekly lead meetings and assisting in leading morning meetings in conjunction with other senior staff.
