Our team is dedicated to creating immersive, memorable experiences that connect guests to our wines, our vineyard, and our mission.

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Winery Educator to join our small but growing hospitality team. This role is responsible for curating elevated guest experiences, sharing Ambar Estate’s story, and engaging guests in wine education while promoting wine sales and memberships. The position reports directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
-Deliver compelling, accurate storytelling about our wines, vineyards, regenerative farming, and people.
-Educate guests on Ambar Estate’s practices and winemaking.
-Drive wine sales and effectively communicate and sell our Wine Club.
-Detail oriented service engaging with club members and guests to provide and elevated experience.
-Fine dining food service with our four course pairing menu and a la carte menu.
-Provide support for on-site and off-site events, including setup, service, breakdown, and sales.
-Perform host duties, including welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth guest flow.
-Assist with service operations such as table setting/clearing, glass polishing, and service station upkeep.

Qualifications
-Previous hospitality experience required; wine or luxury industry experience strongly preferred.
-Sommelier certification or equivalent wine education a plus, but not required.
-Strong passion for Oregon wine and a desire to continuously deepen knowledge.
-Must be 21 years of age or older.
-Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays.
-Current OLCC alcohol permit (required prior to start date).
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Pay is $18 per hour plus tips and wine club commission.
Friday through Sunday schedule plus events and occasional Thursday's. 25-30 hours per week.
