About Celestial Hill:
Celestial Hill Vineyard is a certified organic, small family winery founded in late 2019 by Chris and Melissa Thomas. Originally planted in 2001, the estate vineyard is located in the foothills of the Coastal Mountain Range, West of McMinnville. Here among the rolling foothills and evergreens are 15-acres of vines (2.5 Chardonnay and 12.5 of Pinot Noir), spread out across four vineyards. While inspired by a traditional French Burgundy style, the focus is to showcase the uniqueness of Oregon's terroir and the varying volcanic marine soils.
Celestial Hill’s winemaker, Alisa Le, has over a decade of experience in the Oregon wine industry! Her experience ranges from New Zealand to various Oregon wineries in the Willamette Valley. Our consulting winemaker is Wynne Peterson-Nedry of Ridgecrest Wines (RR Winery)! Together, Wynne and Alisa have over 30 years of experience! Their combined perspectives, experience, and excitement bring a truly unique twist that produces wines with a range to be enjoyed young or cellared for many years.
