Tasting Room & Kitchen Support

Adelsheim is seeking motivated individuals with a passion for Wine and Hospitality to join our team as full or part time Tasting Room Support.



Reports To:

DTC Hospitality Manager / Floor Manager / Lead

Role Purpose:

Responsible for supporting the operation in its back of house functions and some guest-facing functions. This role assists in managing the day-to-day systems that enable the winery and on-site hospitality team to offer unique experiences and create lasting memories in our guests.


Your Role:


Prepare food items according to established standards, and run food as needed



Clean all dishes, bottles and glassware.



Assist to bus tables and reset with proper glassware and menu when it is needed.



Assist and polish glassware to ensure they are in their best condition for our guests.



Ensure Kitchen areas are clean and presentable at all times.



Help keep property and work areas clean.



Closing duties include ensuring all items in the kitchen are cleaned and put away.



Help doing recycling when needed.



Assist in set up and take down of winery events including chairs and tables,



Assist Hospitality Manager with event food preparation and execution



Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation.

Requirements and Availability:

This is a full-time position from in a four day 7 to 9 hours format

Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop and crouch repeatedly

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis

A valid, current Food Handler license.

A valid, current Driver’s License and/or passport as well as reliable transportation

Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, while contributing to our friendly, upbeat hospitality



Compensation and Benefits



Hourly Rate $17 not including tips and bonuses ($19-22 including tips & bonus)

Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision for a full-time position

Paid Time Off (PTO) according to tenure

Employee Education Program and constant training

W.E.P. (Wine Education Program)

For each month with 8+ hours worked you receive $60 in WEP credit. The credits will continue to accrue until used.
