Soter Vineyards was founded in 1997 by Tony and Michelle Soter and is located just outside the town of Carlton, Oregon. With over 90 acres of Estate Grown Biodynamic Vineyards we are able to explore and craft wines from some of the most extraordinary terriors that Oregon has to offer. Our 240acre Biodynamic Ranch is home to our Crown Jewel-Mineral Springs Vineyard-its here that we have established our wine-making facilities. At Soter Vineyard we pride ourselves in creating the finest examples of Oregon Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Methode Champenoise Sparkling Wines.

We are currently looking to add one person onto our production team. This is an amazing opportunity, for the right person, looking to get a foot in the door and to develop their cellar skills amongst a seasoned and committed team. The ideal candidate will gain invaluable experience across an array of wine-making techniques and will play a key role in the success of our production team. This opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to gain practical experience in creating wines of extraordinary quality as part of a small, highly dedicated team of Winemakers.

This position will be full time, hourly, with benefits (Health, Dental, 401K)!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities-
- Execute all work orders directed by senior Winemaking team
-Uphold all established SOPs and adhere to all safety standards
-Perform racking, blending, barrel downs, topping, bottling, and cleaning and organizing.
-Harvest activities will include-grape sampling, processing, pumpovers and punchdowns, wine additions, and much more…
-Maintain Cellar cleanliness and organization throughout the year
-Many other duties not listed here!

The ideal candidate:
-Successfully completed 3 harvest, ideally working with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
-Must be a ‘self-starter’
-Understand that wine quality always come first
-Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds
-Willingness and ability to show initiative
-Able to climb ladders and stand for long periods of time
-Have a valid Divers License.
-Able to communicate and write in English
-Competency in speaking Spanish is desirable
-Ability to work extended hours when necessary
-Forklift experience is a must!!
-Must be able to maintain a positive attitude
-Passion for all things wine and wine-making
