Wine Broker (Independent Contractor, Commission-Based) Needed to Represent Premium South African Sparkling & Oregon Boutique Wines
Are you a passionate, self-driven wine sales professional with an established portfolio of buyers? Do you thrive on building relationships and representing unique, high-quality wines? We are seeking an experienced Wine Broker to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor, working on a 100% commission basis.
About Us:
We represent four wineries with a focus on two distinct wine categories:
- Sparkling wines from South Africa – crisp, elegant, and an established and gaining momentum in the U.S. market.
- Small production, highly allocated wines from Oregon – boutique, sought-after selections that appeal to discerning buyers.
Your Role:
As a Wine Broker, you’ll work independently to introduce and sell our wines to your existing network of on- and off-premise accounts. This is a relationship-driven role that rewards initiative, consistency, and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell and represent wines from our portfolio to retail and restaurant buyers.
- Maintain and grow existing account relationships while prospecting for new opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and insights during scheduled check-ins with our team.
- Act as a brand ambassador for our wineries, representing their stories and quality to the trade.
What We’re Looking For:
- An established book you're already working with where these wines can be added into and increase your marketshare
- Proven track record in wine sales with an active book of buyers.
- Strong understanding of the wine market and category trends.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Existing knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, South African sparkling wine and Oregon boutique wines.
