Benessere Vineyards is looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable, and sales-minded Part-Time Wine Educator / Sales & Hospitality Associate to join our small team in St. Helena. This is for Saturdays & Sundays, and potential Monday shifts.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with guests, talking about wine without taking it too seriously, and creating a relaxed, memorable tasting experience. We specialize in estate-grown Italian varietals and are looking for someone who can confidently host tastings while helping drive wine sales and wine club memberships.
Responsibilities
•  Host engaging and educational seated wine tastings
•  Create a welcoming, personalized experience for each guest
•  Share the story of Benessere Vineyards and our Italian varietals
•  Drive wine sales and wine club memberships through genuine guest interaction
•  Assist with opening and closing duties and daily tasting room operations
•  Process purchases and customer information accurately
•  Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting hospitality space
•  Assist with occasional winery events and special experiences
•  Work collaboratively with our small hospitality team
What We're Looking For
•  Previous winery, tasting room, restaurant, hospitality, or wine sales experience preferred
•  Strong communication and customer service skills
•  Comfortable discussing wine with guests of all experience levels
•  Sales-minded without being overly aggressive
•  Reliable, positive, and comfortable working independently
•  Ability to multitask during busy tasting room periods
•  Must be available Saturdays and Sundays; additional Monday shifts may be available
•  Must be at least 21 years old
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Wine certifications such as WSET, CMS, CSW, or similar are welcome but not required. A genuine interest in wine, hospitality, and learning is more important to us than having an extensive list of credentials.
Compensation
$24–$27/hour, depending on experience, plus tips, sales bonuses, wine club commissions, and employee wine discounts.
