Full-Time Wine Sales & Hospitality Ambassador

Position Overview
Maison Fayard is seeking a polished, motivated, and sales-focused ambassador to work between our downtown Napa tasting location and winery.
This full-time mobile position combines wine hospitality, direct sales, membership development, client outreach, events, and inventory support. Success is measured through sales, membership conversions, repeat business, and the quality of the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
Host personalized wine tastings at the shop and winery.
Educate guests about our wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy.
Sell wine, merchandise, tasting experiences, and memberships.
Build lasting customer relationships through personalized follow-up and outreach.
Meet individual and team sales and conversion goals.
Develop referral relationships with hotels, concierges, restaurants, transportation companies, and local businesses.
Assist with private tastings, membership events, wine dinners, and promotional events.
Process sales and maintain accurate customer information in POS and CRM systems.
Support inventory counts, stock transfers, order preparation, shipping, and restocking.
Transport wine and hospitality materials between locations when needed.
Maintain clean, organized, and presentation-ready tasting and retail areas.
Perform opening, closing, and general hospitality duties.

Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
Two or more years of experience in wine, hospitality, luxury retail, restaurants, hotels, or sales.
Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable selling premium products and asking for the sale.
Professional, reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with POS, CRM, email, and basic office software.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Wine education or established Napa Valley relationships are a plus.
Available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in retail, winery, warehouse, and outdoor environments.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to safely move wine and event materials between locations.

Compensation and Benefits
$26.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Sales and membership commissions or bonuses.
