We are a young, fast growing, luxury wine company based in the heart of Napa Valley. To support our fast growing portfolio, we’re making a significant investment in consumer brand awareness and engagement as well as expanding our marketing team and capabilities.
The Marketing Manager is central to our marketing efforts and we’re looking for a smart, strategic and creative businessperson who is looking to make a difference. Key relationships
Management
•  Develop brand positioning/stories and support materials (photography, videos, collateral, etc)
•  Develop annual go-to-market strategies and tactics that help build brand awareness, reinforce the brand story, and drive traffic and engagement through brand channels
•  Lead consumer, category and competitive analysis to drive insights and innovation.
•  Develop brand budgets that effectively and efficiently execute brand strategies
•  PR & Communications
Oversee the execution of trade events
•  Drive more dynamic usage of our data resources (Nielsen, VIP, Tradeparency) to support business expansion
•  Develop and embed business processes
•  Drive a performance culture throughout the organization, providing the freedom to succeed balanced with accountability to the business plan.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor the marketing team, including the Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, and Associate Marketing Managers.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that strengthen brand equity and accelerate business growth.
Partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Owner through monthly strategic meetings to review current campaigns, opportunities, budgets, innovation, and long-term planning.
Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across brands, channels, and partnerships to expand market presence and profitability.
Drive innovation, creative excellence, and operational discipline across all marketing functions.
Foster collaboration and alignment between Marketing, Sales, Operations, and DTC teams to ensure cohesive execution and consistency across brands.
Public Relations & Product Placement

Oversee all public relations strategy and execution, managing agencies, press outreach, and media relationships to maximize brand exposure.
Develop compelling brand narratives and media opportunities that elevate visibility across trade, lifestyle, and national outlets.
Lead product placement and entertainment integrations, ensuring authentic representation and brand consistency across film, TV, and digital content.
Support influencer and earned media programs that amplify brand reach and credibility.
Digital Marketing, Advertising & eCommerce
Oversee all digital advertising and paid media, including Instacart, retail media networks, and social campaigns.
Partner with DTC and Digital Marketing teams to drive eCommerce initiatives, promotional campaigns, and CRM integration.
Manage analytics and performance insights to optimize campaigns for engagement, conversion, and return on investment.
Trade Marketing & Sales Collaboration
Lead all trade marketing programs and work closely with Sales to develop strategies that drive awareness, volume, and retail activation.
Collaborate with national on/off-premise and general market sales teams on programs, tools, and promotions.
Ensure consistent alignment between brand strategy and field execution to deliver measurable growth in key markets.
Support distributor and account relationships through marketing materials, activation concepts, and joint business planning.
Partnerships & Brand Activations
Manage all brand partnerships across sports, hospitality, and lifestyle categories.
Oversee partnership contracts, activation planning, and cross-functional coordination to deliver impactful consumer experiences.
Ensure all activations align with business objectives, strengthen brand affinity, and drive measurable engagement.
Creative Direction & Brand Development
Oversee all creative development for POS, programming, and campaign assets.
Guide the production of brand decks, content, and visual materials to support sales and trade efforts.
Ensure a unified visual identity and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
Innovation & Product Development
Collaborate with leadership on innovation and new product development, from concept ideation to market launch.
Analyze consumer insights and market trends to inform strategic decisions and identify white-space opportunities.
Budgetng, Forecasting & Operations
Oversee the annual marketing budget and conduct quarterly forecasting to maintain fiscal alignment and agility.
Manage vendor contracts, invoices, and external relationships with transparency and accountability.
Continuously evaluate marketing performance and optimize spend for maximum ROI.
Events & Brand Experiences
Direct the planning and execution of brand events, sponsorships, and sales meetings that embody brand identity and drive engagement.
Oversee event strategy, creative direction, and cross-functional execution to ensure success.
