Neal Family Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales & Hospitality Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of winery operations — from guest-facing hospitality and direct-to-consumer sales to wine club management, social media, and inventory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasting Room & Guest Experience
•  Deliver elevated, personalized guest experiences that exceed expectations, consistently embodying gracious hospitality and the Neal Family Winery brand
•  Provide an engaging overview of wine tasting menus, bottle service options, food pairings, and experiential offerings
•  Conduct guided winery tours including vineyard walks, cellar visits, and production area overviews, tailoring each experience to the guest's wine knowledge and interests
•  Host guests, members, VIPs, trade visitors, and key stakeholders with polished professionalism while articulating the winery's history, philosophy, and portfolio
•  Proactively resolve guest service challenges with discretion and professionalism, transforming issues into positive, memorable outcomes
•  Maintain the general appearance of the tasting room and all guest-facing spaces to ensure a brand-appropriate environment
•  Assume responsibility for daily opening and closing procedures of the tasting room
•  Assist with set-up, breakdown, stocking of supplies, and general operational readiness
•  Work cooperatively with all hospitality staff to achieve service and sales goals
Sales & Wine Club
•  Actively convert tastings and tours into wine sales and wine club enrollments through informed, consultative guest engagement
•  Manage wine club member relationships including sign-ups, order fulfillment, member communications, and renewals
•  Follow up on leads and lapsed wine club memberships via phone, email, or in person
•  Meet or exceed individual sales and wine club growth targets
•  Track daily and monthly retail sales; measure performance against goals and promotional initiatives
•  Collaborate with the DTC team to resolve order inquiries, guest concerns, and service recovery needs
Operations & Inventory
•  Process and pack wine orders for shipment in compliance with applicable direct-to-consumer shipping regulations
•  Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
•  Maintain accurate inventory counts for tasting room stock, wine club allocations, and retail product
•  Ensure timely procurement and inventory of all tasting room supplies including collateral, wine, culinary items, and administrative materials
•  Assist with receiving, logging, and storing incoming inventory
•  Oversee operational platforms including POS and CRM systems; provide input on team training and process troubleshooting
•  Manage the reservation system daily to ensure a seamless cadence of all scheduled experiences
•  Ensure the tasting room and estate facilities are maintained in pristine condition
•  Ensure compliance with safety standards, emergency preparedness, and property protocols
Marketing & Social Media
•  Capture photo and video content during tastings, tours, events, and harvest activities for use across social media channels
•  Draft and schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms consistent with the winery's brand voice
•  Monitor engagement and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely, professional manner
•  Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletter content, and promotional materials
•  Support planning and execution of in-house events, club pick-up parties, and trade visits
•  Partner on local outreach efforts with luxury hotels, DMCs, transportation providers, and industry partners
General Operations
•  Represent the Neal Family Winery brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times
•  Partner with leadership to develop and refine SOPs, driving operational efficiency and consistency
•  Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on elevating guest experience, operational efficiency, and team performance
•  Assist with special projects, hospitality initiatives, and operational improvements as assigned
•  Provide input on product presentation, guest flow, tour programming, and sales process improvements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
•  Proven track record of exemplary customer service, communication, and public-facing hospitality
•  Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and close direct-to-consumer transactions
•  Minimum of two years of hospitality experience; wine industry or luxury service environment preferred
•  Comfortable leading guided tours and speaking knowledgeably about wine, viticulture, and winery operations — training provided
•  Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute with minimal supervision
•  Experience with or willingness to learn wine club management platforms, POS systems, and inventory tools
•  Social media savvy with an eye for compelling content and brand consistency
•  Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
•  Must be available Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility for weekday and/or evening shifts
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•  Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including up and down stairs, on a regular basis
•  Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs, vineyard terrain, and uneven surfaces
•  Comfortable working primarily indoors with occasional tasks in warehouse, cellar, or production areas
•  Outdoor work required for vineyard tours, events, and operational needs
