Del Dotto Family Wineries is an established high-end family-run winery with over 30 years of winemaking in Napa Valley, two cave tasting room locations, and a loyal following of Wine Club members and VIP collectors. We are a close-knit team that works collaboratively across both tasting rooms. Many of our team members have been with us 10 or more years, and we take pride in supporting each other, cross-training, and pitching in wherever needed.

Position Overview:
The Hospitality / Assistant Service and Event Manager oversees food service during our signature Delicacies Wine and Food Pairings, VIP member events, and seasonal culinary programming, primarily based at our Piazza Del Dotto location in Yountville. This role works closely with the Service Manager and the culinary team to ensure every pairing experience is executed with precision, warmth, and the level of polish our guests expect. The position is also cross-trained in guest service and sales functions to support daily tasting room operations as needed.

Responsibilities:
*Lead food service execution during Delicacies Wine and Food Pairings, VIP events, and special culinary experiences
*Coordinate closely with the culinary team on pacing, plating, and timing throughout each pairing
*Set the tone for guest service during events, ensuring a polished and professional experience from start to finish
*Train and support food service team members on service standards, plating, and pairing flow
*Partner with the Service Manager on event planning, staffing, and day-of execution
*Support tasting room operations as needed, including guest check-in, wine pours, and POS transactions
*Perform routine setup, breakdown, housekeeping, and stocking tasks to keep service spaces guest-ready
*Build genuine connections with guests and represent the Del Dotto experience with warmth and professionalism

Qualifications:
*Must be 21 years of age or older
*Prior experience in a winery, restaurant, or hospitality environment with food service responsibility
*Strong leadership presence with the ability to direct a team during busy service while staying calm and composed
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members
*High energy, team-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
*POS and general computer proficiency
*General knowledge of winemaking and wine pairing preferred, with willingness to deepen knowledge of our wines and philosophy
*Availability to work weekends and holidays is required, along with evening events
*Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 42 pounds
