RAEN Winery produces cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the extreme Sonoma Coast. Founded in 2013 by fourth generation vintners Carlo and Dante Mondavi, RAEN has been recognized for their commitment to farming at the highest level, producing wines that sit alongside the best of the world. RAEN’s sales and operations are led by a small yet growing and dynamic team, and this newly created hospitality position will play an integral part of the customer facing, Direct-to-Consumer sales for the winery.

In this role, the Guest Experience Host will be responsible for delivering a high-touch hospitality experience for RAEN members on the family's estate in Napa Valley.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Act as a daily host for RAEN tastings in Napa, Wednesdays through Sundays
•  Maintain a strong understanding of RAEN's history, Sonoma Coast vineyard sites and wines, with the ability to deliver the story with high-touch hospitality
•  Ability to lead guests through a personalized tasting experience, and effectively promote and sell RAEN wines and memberships
•  Facilitate the hospitality calendar, responding to general inquiries and scheduling tastings
•  Ensure daily maintenance of the hospitality space, including general cleaning and inventory restocks of wine and collateral
•  Maintain hospitality provisions, including the sourcing and presentation of seasonal accompaniments for tastings
•  Support Hospitality Manager for outreach to local concierge teams in order to drive traffic
•  Assist with member outreach and relationship-building efforts
•  Assist with the coordination of any DTC events, as well as internal company events
•  Operate the company's POS & CRM to input tasting sales and customer notes
•  Opportunity for growth through involvement in the winery's business development initiatives

Job Requirements:
•  At least 2 years of experience working in fine wine hospitality
•  Hands-on experience communicating and interacting with customers and business partners, with a warm and professional demeanor
•  A bachelor’s degree, as well as advanced knowledge of viticulture, winemaking, wine marketing, and wine tasting are strongly preferred
•  Experience working in a family operation with a willingness to be flexible and accept a constantly changing work environment
•  Strong communication skills (verbal and writing)
•  Able to travel by car to property in Napa on a daily basis
•  Able to lift standard supplies (including but not limited to 9L cases of wine) and to be standing for most of the working day
•  Able to host members 5 days per week including weekends and occasional holidays (Wednesday - Sunday)

Compensation & Benefits:
•  Full-time, hourly position
•  $30-$36/an hour, plus bonus
