We are currently seeking a Seasonal Berry Sampler to join our team for the 2026 harvest season. This part-time, seasonal position will support the winemaking and viticulture teams by collecting berry samples from our estate and grower vineyards in Napa Valley and Anderson Valley. During peak sampling season, the position may also assist the lab team with processing samples for chemical analysis. This temporary position is estimated to begin in mid-July and conclude in early October (dependent on growing season conditions).

What we will ask you to do:
Learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures for sampling and processing grape maturity samples.
Learn location of vineyards and individual vineyard blocks for accurate sample collection.
Deliver labeled samples to winery in timely manner (generally by 11:00 AM).
Advise winemaking and viticulture teams of any issues or concerns noted during vineyard visits.
Other activities potentially assigned by winemaking and/or viticulture teams.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in range of temperatures.
Ability to walk on uneven terrain and up/down hills with significant slope. Ability to walk for extended periods of time.

What you should bring to the table:
Ability to understand and follow vineyard maps.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean DMV record. Rental vehicle will be provided.
Previous viticulture experience and knowledge highly desirable.
Ability to work a flexible, part-time (estimated 4-5 hours/day) schedule, 3-6 days/week from approximately mid-July to early October.
Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.

Pay Transparency Notice: The salary range offered for this position is $20.00-$21.00. This hourly range represents what we anticipate to pay for this position. However, actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The Company reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
