Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Office Manager to run the daily operations of a small luxury winery. This is a key role within the Company, working closely with the Owner, General Manager and all Department Heads. The successful candidate will enjoy a flexible and changing environment where priorities shift from day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations:
- Maintain the company’s accounting records, ensuring all financial transactions, balances, and company assets are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Ensure that the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions are handled in a professional and accurate manner.
- Management, tracking and recording of cash, expense reports, and company credit cards.
- Provide accurate and timely financial statements, providing internal reports, budget vs. actual reports and individual department reports.

HR Operations:
- Coordinate payroll administration, employee time-off tracking, and benefits reporting.
- Help set HR policies and benefits and oversight of benefit administration.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.

Administrative Operations:
- Maintain relationships with business partners including vendors, banking and accounting professionals.
- Ensuring that the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies, from stationery to pantry items. This involves keeping track of inventory, placing orders, and managing relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for co-workers.
- Maintaining and organizing important documents, records, and files.

Job requirements:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in office management, bookkeeping, and/or administrative support.
- Strong, well-developed organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple areas and tasks simultaneously.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks.
- Basic knowledge and appreciation of fine wines with a dedication to ongoing learning.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., or a 9L case of wine.
