For more than forty years, Sequoia Grove Winery has crafted Napa Valley wines rooted in place, led by Cabernet Sauvignon and brought to life through thoughtful, welcoming hospitality. We believe wine is meant to be shared—and the best experiences happen when people slow down and connect.

We’re looking for a Tasting Room Busser to support the daily flow of our hospitality experience. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining a clean, organized, and service-ready environment while supporting both guests and team members throughout the day.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Tasting Room & Hospitality Manager. The anticipated salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $20.00 per hour plus tips.

Position Summary
The Tasting Room Busser ensures all hospitality spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times. Working closely with the tasting room and culinary teams, this role supports service flow, anticipates operational needs, and helps create a polished, welcoming guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
•  Set up tasting areas prior to service; maintain clean, organized guest spaces throughout the day
•  Greet guests as needed with water service and assist with welcome pours
•  Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently between seatings
•  Maintain cleanliness of tasting room, patio, restrooms, and service areas
•  Stock and maintain par levels of wine, glassware, merchandise, and supplies
•  Wash, sanitize, and polish glassware, plates, silverware and kitchen tools
•  Receive, organize, and store wine shipments
•  Assist with packaging wine purchases and guest carry-outs
•  Remove trash and recycling; maintain back-of-house organization
•  Support the team during high-volume periods and complete opening/closing duties
•  Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
•  Hospitality, bussing, or restaurant experience preferred
•  Strong work ethic; reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
•  Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
•  Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude
•  Comfortable interacting with guests in a warm, professional manner
•  Must be able to speak, read, and understand English
•  Must be available weekends and holidays
•  Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements
•  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
