This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, vendors, and business associates visiting or calling the winery, creating a warm and professional first impression that reflects the hospitality and standards of the brand. This position will work Thursday - Monday and is full-time.
- Assist with daily tasting room setup for private tastings and maintain proficiency in all opening and closing procedures
- Support setup and breakdown for winery events and guest experiences
- When needed, host tastings that effectively communicate the brand story, educate guests on the wines, and drive wine sales
- Assist with culinary programs, including the preparation and setup of food and wine pairings
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all guest-facing spaces, including clearing and resetting tables in private tasting areas
- Clean and polish glassware, plates, and other dishware as needed
- Coordinate guest stays at the estate home, ensuring the property is clean, presentable, and fully prepared for arrival; coordinate with housekeeping and provide guests with information on operating the home. You are their point of contact for their stay
- Book tasting appointments via phone and email
- Coordinating, tracking and fulfilling all donation requests
- Respond to customer service inquiries related to shipping, orders, memberships, and events through the shared winery inbox
- Pack and process third-party wine shipments and maintain accurate tracking information in the CRM and internal records
- Collect and distribute mail, including coordinating deliveries to the accountant and controller
- Enter sales orders on behalf of the sales team while maintaining accuracy in customer information, notes, and shipping details
- Care for indoor plants as directed
- Greet and welcome guests, provide refreshments, and prepare conference rooms before and after meetings
- Answer and direct phone calls while assisting guests, vendors, and visitors in person and by phone
- Receive, sign for, and distribute deliveries and packages
- Maintain organized, tidy, and professional office and common areas
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing company materials and binders
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance for office and estate equipment
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and assist the Estate Manager with scheduling property maintenance at the estate.
- Monitor office and kitchen supply inventory and place orders as necessary
