Position Overview
A Sales Associate is responsible for delivering elevated hospitality experiences while driving wine sales, wine club memberships, and long-term guest relationships.

As a Sales Associate, you will guide guests through private tastings, curated food-and-wine pairings, and estate cave tours while upholding the professionalism and hospitality standards that define B Cellars.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to create genuine guest connections that naturally translate into sales performance and club growth. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by goals, take pride in delivering results, and understand how exceptional hospitality drives long-term customer loyalty.

Core Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional private hospitality experiences through seated tastings, food-and-wine pairings, and cave tours
- Drive wine sales, wine club memberships, and repeat business through relationship-based hospitality
- Consistently meet and exceed individual sales and membership goals
- Confidently guide guests through purchasing decisions and membership opportunities in a professional and personalized manner
- Educate guests on wines, vineyard sourcing, culinary pairings, and winery philosophy
- Create personalized experiences by adapting to individual guest needs and preferences
- Maintain strong awareness of service flow, pacing, and guest experience standards
- Collaborate closely with hospitality, culinary, and event teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support daily opening, closing, and operational responsibilities
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, presentation, and attention to detail

Polished, personable, and motivated by both hospitality and performance. They are confident leading private guest experiences, passionate about wine and food, and genuinely enjoy building relationships with guests.

They thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in delivering experiences that feel elevated, thoughtful, and memorable. They are self-motivated, sales-minded, and comfortable working toward individual and team goals while maintaining a hospitality-first approach.

Requirements
This is a full-time position with competitive compensation, benefits, tips, and incentive opportunities. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Hospitality background required; winery, luxury hospitality, or fine dining experience strongly preferred
- Strong wine knowledge and a passion for food and wine hospitality are required
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional presence and confidence leading guest experiences
- Experience with Commerce7 is a plus
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hospitality standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation required
- Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory

Compensation & Benefits
- $32 - $35/hour (DOE) plus tips and performance-based incentives
