We are seeking an Estate Ambassador to help bring the OVID experience to life—welcoming guests with warmth, authenticity and care while guiding intimate tastings and estate visits that reveal the story behind the wines.

The Role
As an Estate Ambassador, you are a steward of the guest experience. You create thoughtful, personalized visits that reflect the character of the estate while building meaningful connections with each guest.

You will host tastings and tours, support the daily rhythm of the estate and contribute to a hospitality program grounded in precision, consistency and genuine connection.

What You’ll Do
Deliver Thoughtful Hospitality
•  Host intimate tastings and estate tours aligned with OVID’s hospitality standards
•  Create welcoming, tailored experiences that reflect a quiet, elevated approach to service
•  Guide guests through wine selections with clarity and authenticity
•  Share knowledge of OVID’s vineyard, winemaking and philosophy in an engaging and approachable way
•  Maintain tasting spaces and guest areas with careful attention to detail
•  Support private tastings, events and daily hospitality operations
Build Relationships
•  Develop genuine connections with guests, collectors and trade partners
•  Conduct thoughtful follow-up and outreach to maintain engagement over time
•  Capture guest preferences and insights to support a highly personalized experience
•  Collaborate with the team to create opportunities for meaningful guest interaction
Support Operations
•  Assist with daily setup and breakdown of tastings and tours
•  Support order processing, inventory coordination and guest record management
•  Help maintain a seamless flow of the guest experience throughout the day
•  Partner with winemaking and marketing teams to stay current on wines and estate activity
•  Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous refinement

Who You Are
You are naturally attentive and composed, with a genuine interest in people and a curiosity for wine. You bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to your work and understand that exceptional hospitality is defined by consistency, intention and care.

You are comfortable engaging with discerning guests, take pride in your work and value being part of a small, focused team.

Qualifications
•  2–3 years of experience in luxury hospitality or high-touch guest service
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•  Confident, professional presence aligned with a luxury environment
•  Interest in wine, with a desire to deepen knowledge of viticulture and winemaking
•  Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred
•  Availability to work weekends and holidays

The Environment
This role is based at the OVID estate in St. Helena, CA, within a dynamic hospitality setting that includes both indoor and outdoor experiences, as well as occasional time in cellar environments.

The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40 lbs., and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
