Hyde Vineyards Estate Winery is a small, family-owned vineyard and winery located in Carneros, Napa Valley.
Our family team will give you the opportunity to work side by side with us in all aspects of our winery at
our estate tasting room. We are seeking an individual that possesses strong initiative and
follow-through, who thrives both independently, and in a team setting with an entrepreneur attitude.

Responsibilities
•  Successfully managing all aspects of tasting room operations, wine club, and wholesale channels:
sales plans and initiatives, customer service, inventory accuracy, cash reconciliation, shipping
orders, profitability, and staff hiring, training and development, local hospitality events
•  Responsible for managing direct selling initiatives via email, phone, and text
•  Provide clear, on-going communication with the team through consistent and timely direction,
establishing specific and clearly communicated performance goals
•  Plan, execute, and achieve sales goals, membership acquisition targets, and mailing list
conversion. Monitor sales trends and budget, adjusting business strategies as needed to meet
target revenue and profitability goals
•  Promote the brand and develop solid client base of top tier collectors by regularly planning and
executing business development events and outreach strategies which may include travel away
from the Estate
•  Build reliable referral network with wineries, restaurants, and hotels
•  Create and manage all DTC communications and assets including emails and social media
•  Coach and develop associates so they represent the highest level of expertise available in the wine
industry with an emphasis on customer service, wine education and gracious hospitality
•  Executes hospitality events and visitor programs in a manner that is well organized, within budget
and consistent with marketing direction on brand image. Represent the company at offsite events
as needed
•  Participate in annual budget planning process to establish case volume and revenue sales targets
•  Ensure staff are updated with current wine and marketplace information including distributor
information, market wine pricing and new release timing
•  Possess commanding knowledge of POS system, including ability to effectively perform opening
and closing procedures
•  Assist with wine club processing
•  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
•  3-5 Hospitality required, preferably in the wine industry
•  Management Experience
•  Must be able to lift 45lbs and stand for long periods of time
•  Must be able to work weekends (including weekends) and occasional evenings
•  Unquestionable integrity
•  Self-motivated and professional with the ability to multi-task
•  Customer service driven, holds others to great customer service standards
•  Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
•  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
•  Goal oriented
•  Strong leadership skills to manage tasting room staff and remote teams
•  Able to prioritize and excel in stressful situations
•  Experience using web-based POS systems, MailChimp or equivalent
