We are seeking a charismatic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales and Hospitality Associate. As part of a dedicated team, you will ensure every guest feels a genuine connection with the winery, providing them with a memorable and dynamic hospitality experience, one of discovery and relaxed modern classic luxury, that surprises and delights. You’ll engage with guests, effectively selling our wine, olive oil, and wine club, while building lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits and future sales. A strong passion for wine and enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge are essential for success in this position.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking candidates for two hourly positions, both of which are eligible for sales commissions and tips.
FT Position: This role requires availability Thursday through Monday with a weekly commitment of 30+ hours. Occasional holidays and events are required.
PT Position: This role requires availability from Fridays through Sundays with a weekly commitment of 16 to 34 hours. Occasional holidays and events are required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
•  Be a passionate Bouchaine Brand Ambassador
•  Create and host memorable guest experiences by warmly welcoming each visitor upon arrival. Share the rich history and stories of Bouchaine, including its owners, winemaker, and wines, while actively engaging with guests to understand their interests. Tailor the experience to exceed guest expectations and leave a lasting impression.
•  Proactively promote and sell wine, olive oil, wine club memberships, events, and retail items to drive revenue and support the achievement of business goals.
•  Seamlessly present the Wine Club features and benefits throughout the tasting experience, inviting every guest to join and helping to achieve membership goals through new signups and renewals.
•  Retain club members through personalized recognition and outstanding service.
•  Learn product offering information to assist guests with making selections and purchases.
•  Assist with special events when scheduled, including set up, staffing and breakdown.
•  Collect names and email addresses for future contact while maintaining and updating current customer records, including tying sales history to ensure accurate and comprehensive data.
•  Assist with support functions that include greeting, checking guests in; assisting with the setup and breakdown of Tastings and Experiences, opening and closing procedures, including but not limited to maintaining proper furniture alignment and setup, setting tables; cleaning tables, dish/glass washing and buffing and general housekeeping duties.
•  Become proficient in winery reservation, POS and Club systems to sell wine, merchandise, club memberships, check guests in, collect wine tasting fees, and provide accurate reporting as needed.
•  Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings, tastings, and other team events.
•  Delivers punctual and reliable attendance. Maintains proper time and attendance in ADP and ensures the required meal and rest breaks are taken.
•  Work collaboratively and professionally with all departments, contributing innovative ideas to enhance service, safety, merchandise, sustainability, and general operations.
•  Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and neatness throughout the Tasting Room and grounds, both inside and out, while ensuring customer accessibility.
•  Open and pour wine in accordance with Responsible Beverage Service Guidelines.
•  Represent Bouchaine professionally, graciously, and enthusiastically.
•  Come to work with a positive attitude and outlook on the day.
•  Flexibility and drive to take on new tasks and duties as they are presented.

Experience & Qualifications:
•  Must be at least 21 years of age.
•  Exceptional customer service and polished presentation skills with a strong commitment to excellence and high standards.
•  A demonstrated ability to close sales
•  Prefer two (2+) years restaurant or hospitality experience (preferably luxury) and strong wine knowledge preferred.
•  Weekend availability – Saturdays and Sundays are a must
•  If you are mature, polite, positive, hard-working, team oriented, with a “can do” attitude and a good sense of fun, you will fit in well with our small, professional hospitality team.
•  Professional appearance and demeanor
•  Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to ascend and descent stairs.
•  Able to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
•  Current, valid Driver’s License, and insurable driving record
