We recently raised our Seed Round and are adding to our Sales Team to build on our early commercial success. This position reports directly to our CEO, Matt Witte, who has more than a decade of experience leading commercial and sales teams at the intersection of agriculture and technology.

The Role
We’re seeking a talented and driven BDR to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new pipeline and helping fuel revenue growth at Blended. You’ll identify and research target winery accounts, engage prospective customers through outbound outreach, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for the sales team. You’ll play an important role in shaping our go-to-market motion by bringing market feedback, prospect insights, and customer pain points back to the broader team.
We view this as an important growth role on our commercial team. For candidates who are successful in the position, we expect there to be a path to promotion into an Account Executive role as they demonstrate consistent success in generating pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts and key decision-makers within wineries
Execute outbound prospecting across phone, email, in-person, LinkedIn, and other channels
Qualify prospective customers by understanding their operations, needs, and fit for Blended
Book qualified meetings and demos for the sales team
Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and activity in HubSpot
Partner with leadership to refine messaging, target segments, and outreach strategy

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
1+ years of applicable sales experience in business development, sales development, outbound prospecting, or a similar sales-centric role
Experience in the wine industry. You’ve worked for wineries or sold directly into the production side of wineries
Hustle and drive. You’re self-motivated, resilient, and willing to put in the work required to open doors and create new opportunities
Comfort using and discussing technical software with a technical audience
You are curious by nature. You seek to understand how prospects operate and how solutions can help them thrive
Excellent communication skills and persistent follow-through on your commitments
A track record of hitting goals, whether through meetings booked, pipeline generated, or other sales performance metrics
College Degree

While it’s not required, it’s a plus if you have:
Direct experience in winemaking/enology
Live in California or Oregon

Benefits:
Target salary range for the role is $55,000-65,000 per year, with an OTE range of $85,000-$95,000
Additional compensation in the form of equity
Blended provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision
