SALES REPRESENTATIVE — DIRECT TO CONSUMER / TASTING ROOM

An established, family-owned Napa Valley winery with over 20 years of estate wine production is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our tasting room team. We produce approximately 5,000 cases annually, maintain a strong and loyal wine club, and our guests consistently rank us among the top winery experiences on Google and TripAdvisor.

THE ROLE

You'll be the face of our brand — welcoming visitors, leading tastings, building relationships, and converting guests into loyal wine club members and repeat buyers. This is a hands-on, hospitality-driven sales position. Much of your day will be spent outdoors in our vineyard setting, so comfort working outside in all seasons is essential.

Responsibilities include:

- Conducting wine tastings and educating guests on our wines, vineyards, and winemaking
- Driving wine club sign-ups, bottle sales, and on-site revenue
- Managing guest relationships from first visit through ongoing engagement
- Supporting wine club retention efforts and member events
- Maintaining accurate records in our POS/CRM system
- Assisting with seasonal events, harvest activities, and private tastings as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum 3 years of direct-to-consumer wine sales experience (tasting room preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- WSET Level 2, CSS, or equivalent wine education preferred
- Strong knowledge of Napa Valley wines and the ability to speak credibly about viticulture and winemaking
- Genuine warmth with guests — not scripted, not pushy
- Comfortable working on your feet and outdoors for extended periods
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
