Position Summary:
As an Estate Host at LWE, you will be a representative of our celebrated estates, delivering unparalleled guest experiences that embody our commitment to excellence, transparency, and innovation. Reporting to the Hospitality Director, you will lead engaging tours and tasting experiences, build lasting relationships with guests, and contribute to the success of our hospitality sales initiatives.
As an Estate Host you will also be setting the standard for service excellence and helping to shape and uphold best practices across the guest experience. This position requires passion for wine, superior hospitality, and the ability to lead-by- example in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Guest Experience & Hospitality:
Welcome all guests and lead elevated, engaging and profitable tasting experiences
Share the stories in an authentic and compelling way to create meaningful and lasting guest connections.
Maintain a poised, elegant environment while managing multiple groups and ensuring all guests feel personally attended to.
Anticipate and accommodate special occasions or requests to consistently exceed expectations.
Work at all LWE properties as needed
Sales, Membership & Relationship Development
Promote wine and retail sales, exclusive offerings, and new memberships through strategic, relationship-based selling.
Cultivate and retain strong guest, member, and industry relationships, including concierge and winery partners
Maintain detailed CRM records with guest notes, preferences, and significant dates.
Provide support to colleagues to maintain consistency in personalized top tier service.
Follow up with guest post-visit through personalized thank-you notes and targeted outreach
Estate Collaboration:
Assist in counting monthly inventory counts.
Assist in wine stocking, setup, and breakdown of tastings throughout the day.
Open and close the winery, ensuring all procedures are followed with accuracy
Assisting and serving at LWE estate events as needed
Qualifications and Physical Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in premium winery tasting rooms, hospitality, or retail sales.
Must be 21 years of age
Possess a valid driver’s license
Must be flexible/available to work weekends, special events, and holidays, occasionally more than 8 hours a day
Demonstrated track record in generating sales and long-term relationships with a variety of clientele.
Ability to multi-task and hold multiple priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail
Reliability is crucial, arriving punctuality and consistently following all safety regulations and operating procedures
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Ability to operate various machinery types to include, but not limited to, dishwashers, leaf blowers, etc
