Demi Sous Chef, Far Niente Wine Estates
With three stunning Wine Estates and a growing portfolio, we are expanding our Culinary Team and need your talents.
The Demi Sous Chef is responsible for providing a high level of capable support to the Executive Chef in the execution of day to-day responsibilities.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
• Partners with the Executive Chef on the planning and preparation needed for the successful execution of our culinary program.
• Assists with food prep, plating, and service per the current menu and instruction.
• Prepare and organize work to ensure daily guests can receive quality culinary offerings, delegate and manage team accordingly.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of private tastings.
• Maintain kitchen supply inventory, tools, and equipment including storage areas.

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
• Previous experience of 3 years in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Training in the culinary arts.
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a highly functioning team.
• Strong organizational skills, a passion for food, and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the predominately used language.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and ascend and descend stairs.
