POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Winemaking Assistant supports the winemaking team through accurate work order processing, inventory management, billing coordination, compliance tracking and support, and bottling/shipping logistics. This role is highly detail-oriented and administrative in nature, serving as a critical link between winemaking, cellar operations, compliance, and accounting to ensure that all wine movements, services, and charges are documented and processed accurately. This position does not oversee fermentation management or independent winemaking decisions but ensures the operational execution of production plans. The company may as job and business necessity dictate modify duties and functions.
Essential Functions:
In coordination with the Winemaking team, performs advanced administrative and data related support to assist Production Department. Assignments generally involve work of a complex and confidential nature and require knowledge of the practices and procedures, company products, policies and programs.

Experience and Training:
Education: Degree in Viticulture and Enology, Business and related field preferred but not required. Strong working knowledge of winery processes, inventory systems, production workflows and familiarity with TTB reporting structure. 2+ years winery production, operations or compliance experience preferred. Experience in custom crush environment highly desirable.
Bilingual skills preferred.

Software – Excel, Word, Outlook, Vintrace, Innovint
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a production environment, mainly a desk role with occasional standing, walking.
